Then the trap closes: lily of the valley blooms into the air with that particular wet-green shimmer, and for a moment the composition reads almost pretty. The moment passes. The heart is built around datura — Devil's Trumpet — a note that carries genuine botanical menace, nocturnal and narcotic, something you wouldn't plant near children. The base refuses to clean up: tree moss and patchouli stain the drydown a deep earthy brown, a shadow of damson plum providing just enough fruit to remind you what rot smells like. A garden after midnight. You are trespassing. This fragrance won the Art and Olfaction Award for 2025.
