The two materials that carry this are a purple Prachin oud distillation and a Fritzsche Brothers copaiba balsam from around 1954, and together they are a quarter of the formula. The balsam is the thing — it reads like lacquer on an old piano, and it sits under white lily and clove until the oud comes up pollen-heavy and faintly smoky underneath. Forty seven percent extrait, 30 ml, limited and numbered.
