Oud Assam tanned in birch tar smoke — barnyard and bonfire become one thing, then vanilla softens it without sweetening it. Cécile Zarokian for Amouage's attars; pure oil, 12 ml.

Attar format: pure oil in a glass rollerball. There is no spray atomiser — roll it on and let it warm on the skin. Oil this concentrated goes a long way; even the smallest size is several wearings.

Attar Set: also poured in the Attar Set with Luban Al Akhdar, Vanilla Barka and Suede Ibri, four 0.3 ml roll-ons together.
