Frankincense bloomed like a flower — citrus and aldehydes lifting green olibanum until myrrh and labdanum pull it back to earth. Quentin Bisch for Amouage's attars; pure oil, eight weeks aged and matured.

Attar format: pure oil in a glass rollerball, 0.3 ml or 0.5 ml. There is no spray atomiser — roll it on and let it warm on the skin. Oil this concentrated goes a long way; 0.3 ml is several wearings, 0.5 ml if you want to live with it a while.
